| One of Huntington Beach Police
Department's first helicopters, the Hughes 296B. The helicopter weighted
1600 lbs, and had and engine that put out 180hp. The top speed for the
helicopter was 87mph.
The radio call sign for the helo was "10-Henry" from the beginning of the program until the late '70's. The mechanic shown is Sonny Schubert. He was our first mechanic. |
